Olam

The Kewalram Chanrai Group established Olam in 1989. Olam is a leading global integrated supply chain manager of agriculture products and food ingredients with operations in over 52 countries. Since the establishment of its business in 1989, Olam has evolved from a single country, single product trader to a multi-country, multi-product supply chain manager.
 
Today, it manages an integrated supply chain for over 14 agriculture products. As supply chain manager, Olam is engaged in the sourcing, processing, warehousing, transportation, shipping, distribution and marketing of these products from the farm gate in the producing countries to the factory gate of its customers in the destination markets while managing the risks at each stage of the supply chain.
 
Headquartered in Singapore and listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in February 2005, Olam currently ranks among the 40 largest listed companies in Singapore in terms of market capitalisation. Olam has been included in the bench mark Straits Times Index (STI) from February 2007.
