Redington

Redington is a distributor of IT products and providers of logistics and supply chain management in India, the Middle East and Africa. It also distributes mobile handsets and accessories in Nigeria and India. Redington provides support services for IT hardware and mobile phones in addition to its distribution strength.
 
Redington was incorporated in Singapore for specialized trade in PC components in the early 1980s and its focus was on the Middle East. With India emerging as a leader in the IT stage in the 1990s, Redington began to set up an office in Chennai, India in 1993. It has since operated as the Group's principal IT base.
 
The strength of Redington lies in its ability to provide a wide spectrum of products from multiple vendors, helping customers to achieve economies of scale and providing them with a single sourcing point. End to end services like warranty and post-warranty service, provides significant value add to their customers. Redington's core competency, is managing logistics.
 
Redington has progressed from distribution to emerge as a major provider for IT and non-IT products. There are nearly 500 employees and more than 5,000 resellers and system integrators. Today, Redington manages an inventory of more than 4,000 stocking units and has more than 10,500 partners all over the world.
